A very special part of every Senior's year is the traditional Children's Christmas Party sponsored by the Senior class. This year was no exception as the Seniors played host to fifty children, age four to six, from two local day care centers. Money for the event :omes from contributions made by the student body. The Christmas spirit was apparent early in the day as some of the Seniors spent the morning decorating ihe twelve foot Christmas tree in the gym or wrapping Nxyix- Aura' 'QA X .3f+--- fi' ' toys and gifts for the children. That afternoon the faculty and student body joined in at the assembly. Christmas carols were sung, there was a reading of The Night Before Christmas , and of course the high- light of the program, a visit by Santa Claus with pre- sents for all the children. Later that afternoon, the youngsters were treated to ice-cream and cookies at a party in the cafeteria. It was a memorable Christ- mas for them and for us as well. i ix R is Xx s l
