ELIZABETH MAITHRE, Art - Trophies, honors, wide acclaim: artists brought our school much fame. lt's been great working with so many civic minded, skilled, creative and know- ledgable young people . 7. Social Studies teacher, MR. DAVID KEMP - With the emphasis on Vocational Education in the State of Ohio, it is still a big question mark why Courter was sold, especially with the great rise in costs to build vocational units at the district schools. 8. The Program Developer in the Learning Lab is MISS MARION GARDNER - Vocational Education is de- finitely the thing for the future but we must not neglect the classics for its sake. Fine art, music and literature should re- main an important part of the curriculum. 9. MR. WILLIAM IGNATZ, Chemistry and Math A I enjoy the many different relationships a teacher experiences with students. Some days you're hated, some respected, a friend, a foe, a failure, and a success: all of these moods are apparent in your students .

FACULTY continued 1. MR. CLARENCE HESLAR teaches Welding and Electricity -- There is a need in modern industry for craftsmen with varying degrees of technical skill in welding: more and more trades are using welding each year . 2. MRS. HELEN KUGEL, Counselor - A goal ahead spurs everyone to achievement. A goal so set and continually strived for will unquestionably reflect itself in our attainments 3. English and Social Studies are taught by MRS. MINNIE EVERETT - l believe that the Mini Course idea is X beautiful because the students are exposed to more subject areas . 4. MR. LARRY WETTENKAMP teaches Driver Training - One day the student driving mistook the sidewalk for the road Snap!! went three seat belts in the back seat as some pretty wide-eyed students prepared for the worst . 5. MR. ROBERT SARS- FIELD, Physical Education - This is the best time of your life.
