ELOISE SIMPKINS teaches Food Fundamentals and Com- mercial Foods l - Cooking has long been associated with girls, but in the food classes at Courter, it is rewarding to observe they interest in food preparation shown by the boys, as there are many jobs available for both . 2. MR. AUGUST FRANECKI, Counselor - Despite all the criticism of the young, l find them no worse than when I was a juvenile delinquent . 3. MR. WERNER SCHMALFUSS, Athletic Director and Physical Education - The Sale of Courter was a great disappointment to meg l have never seen such fine facilities as we have here at this school. I think the Board will be sorry when they see the results of the costs of the buildings in the future . 4. MR. ART KUHN, Business Education - Courter is unique in that it combines practical and symbolic skills. The result is a student who not only understands. but who practices democracy . 5. MRS.
