SHOPS continued Being the third largest industry in the United States, FOODS help train people to meet the needs of the many facilities involved in this profession. The Commercial Foods program deals both with classroom work, and practical experience. Food handling, sanitation, preparation, cost accounting, and the serving of food are covered. The foods classes, Commercial Foods I and ll, and Food Fundamentals have prepared meals for each other. SHOPS continued awww- For a job in any of the printing arts or associated fields GRAPHIC COMMUNICATIONS has a curriculum designed to enable a graduating student to gain employment. Typesetting, silk screen process, linotype, power press operation, printing inks and binding methods are some of the practical aspects studied. Lithography offers technical training in composition and design using photography, art work, stripping, platemaking and press work. Printer's math English for printers and copy preparation complete the curriculum. Special projects include printing the school paper, Knight Life, as well as a host of other printed materials for Courter and sur- rounding schools.
