SHOPS continued The field of industrial graphic communications is studied in the Courter shop area, DRAFTING. The introductory course, Drafting Fundamentals, presents a basic knowledge of instrumentdrawing Sketching, lettering, orthographic views, pictorial drawing and dimensioning are covered. Juniors and Seniors interested in this field take Technical Drafting. Principles of design are studied, precision dimen- sioning, gear and cam design, descriptive geometry, fastener design, jig and fixture development, and house and building architecture.

Students can pursue three levels of knowledge while majoring in ELECTRONICS. First is Electricity, which offers a basic knowledge o the fundamentals such as magnetisi direct and alternating cur- rent systems, electrical meas- urement and test equipment. Work is done in laboratory situations with test circuits. The second level is Electronics Learning theory and the principle supporting skills necessary for employment or college are emphasized. Seniors take Electro-Mechanics which gives the student the necessary knowl- edge and skills required to repair appliances and other electro- mechanical devices.
