Acknowledgements The 1972 PENDULUM is finally completed. Though it will undoubtedly be late, I hope that in the final analysis it will be judged worth waiting for. lt would not have been possible without the help of various individuals. To these people the staff and myself wish to extend our thanks. Mr. Sutton, Mr. Ward and Mr. Jones for their interest and cooperation with this year's book. The faculty for letting us interrupt their classes and borrow their stu- dents. The coaches and organization advisors for their assistance with their activities and groups. The Varsity Basketball Team for having their picture taken more than the Milwaukee Bucks. Mr. Bob Benedict from Buckeye School Photographers, for our under- classmen pictures. Mr. Dick Chiara and the American Yearbook Company for their en- couragementand patience. Our advertisers, both student and commercial, for their support. Mr. Ralph Hennie for all hishelp and for literally making his classes, my classes, du ring the year. Mrs. Helen Kugel for handling the business end of the annual, and Mr. Thomas Grooms for being in charge of sales. The approximately forty students who expressed themselves so beauti- fully for the opening and closing section copy of the book. I personally would like to, thank the yearbook staff members and the many students who were not on the staff but lent a helping hand anyway. And finally special thanks to Pogue's Portrait Studio for our senior pictures, and Mr. John Mullaney and his staff at Osborne Photo Lab for the activity pictures and services given the '72 Pendulum. l'd like to men- tion in particular Mrs. Betty Megerle who was so cooperative and helpful during the year, and Osborne photographers Bob Buring, Bud Jeffries and Chuck Saalfeld for their many effors and the great pictures which appear in this book.
