Iumor Class Hrstory Our great moment came m the fall of 1948 when we started high school Our class then consxsted of e1ght members Darlene Schwalk Cleone lxhmek Evon Neva Dale Baumgartner Clarence Wenzel DamelStachowsk1 Frankhn Lexgman and Erbxe Hopwood Then came the dreaded but happy day of 1n1t1at1on from wh1ch we all surv1ved Durmg the year Frankhn Lelgman dropped out 1eav1ng us a class of seven In the spr1ng we contracted the dxsease of spmng fever and sklpped school one afternoon A a result we were expelled from school llntll our parents talked to the supermtendent ln the fall of 1949 we started our Sophomore year by gaxmng four new members Bern1ce Drong Marlys Neva Raymond Clemens and James Hanson Our year was brxghtened by having the prlvxlege of xmtlatxng the Freshmen Startmg our .Tumor year we lost two members These were Marlys Neva and James Hanson We now have nlne members We are plannmg to entertain the Sen1ors at the end of school year w1th a banquet and prom We are now lookmg forward to our Semor year and to recervmg our class rmgs and announcements we have already ordered them For the commg sprmg events we plan to have a dance the flrst part of Apr11 and we also plan to sponsor a play the f1rst of May These we thmk w1ll brmg our school year to a close 13 . . . . i S We all made it back for final exams, which were passed.

LORRAINE SIEBERT Rossa BISCHOI-'F mls LOVELL Sophomore Class Hzstory In the fall of 49, we started our Freshman year Our class consxsted of fourteen members Wxlham Nutt, Terrance Walsh Roger Bxshhoff John Walker Lloyd Skogstad James Fletcher Lorrame Smebert Amta Mitchell Lo1s Lovell Ruth Kasper, Madelme Hockert Joanne Neva, Carolyn Clemens, and Eugene Wraalstad The hxghhght of the year was our 1n1t1at1on mfhcted by the Sophomores in wh1ch the gxrls wore men s underwear and the boys wore womens dresses At the beglnmng of our Sophomore year the membershlp of our class had decreased by the loss of Ruth Kasper James Fletcher, and Lloyd Skogstad but we had also gamed Darlene Maruska V1ce Presldent and Lo1s Secretary Treasurer We also elected a Student Councll member Eugene and our Queen candldate, Anlta We had several class meetmgs to debate on whether to have dues 1n our class The fxnal declslon to have dues came when we declded to sponser a Valentme s party and needed the money The party was m the afternoon of Valentme s Day and was attended by the 7th and 8th grades, hlgh school, and the teachers We played games danced and had lunch We are all lookmg forward to becommg .Tumors next year wxth only one year left untll mt w1ll be our pr1v1lege to supervlse the 1n1t1at1on of the mconung Freshrnen 15 , : - 1 , n D I I I i I We elected our class officers as follows: Madeline, President: Terrance,
