Everyone in school belonged to Ia cluIb Ian-d must make at least one appearance 'Clubs are organized in debate ,music .and dramati-cs. ANNUAL STAFF 4'I'op liowb Edwards. Berry, Crt-ss, Amrine tl-Sottnin Huwj Sherman, Gordon, .lflillite The 1924 Peace Pipe has been written and drawn and photographed and engraved to please the people who ,publish it, the Seniors, and those who buy it, the public. Some of its features are new to Council Grove Hfigh School, some of them are the popular things high school people know and like to see in the annual. Seniors themselves, without nominations even, elected the staff on writ- ten ballots. Nothing autocratic has occured in its management. Team work ran along smoothly and peacefully except for one windy day row which probably shouldn't be mentioned since it wasn't serious and didn't leave any impression on the Peace Pipe. The King's scepter expresses power to his subjects and so to the Indian is the Peace Pipe. The school annual is an -expression of the power and life of the school. With this in mind and thinking of the importance the peace pipe holds in town history, the 1924 annual of Council Grove High was named The Peace Pipe.
