ERNEST FLETCHER hgrnie is playing his second year at half. He is a fine tackler, a good ball lugger, and an excellent pass receiver. FRED BRAUN Fred has played guard for two years. His size and strength made him super- ior to his opponents. He was also fast on his feet, a good tackler and good on defense. HAROLD WALSH Harold held down a center and guard position. He has played three yearst Quiet, steady and conscientious in his playing. ' VANCE RICE Vance played his third year of foot- ball at end. He's fine on both of- fense and defense and very speedy. RALPH DRAKE Playing his second year at center, he was one of the best centers in the country. Fast, shifty, always in the play, a fine tackler, C. G. never had a betier center. The bigger his oppon- ent, the better Ralph liked to take him out. Page Forty-two
