Baiz To the Graduating Class of 1965 You are leaving Coughlin High School and all of its memories to enter on the second phase of your ap' prenticeship for life. You are no longer the child of to- day but the young man or young lady of tomorrow. You have learned some new rules, and you have ac- quired some new skills. This should, for many, make your next steps easier, despite all of the problems that are facing multitudes of high school graduates all over this country. Megaton bombs, racial strife, poverty pockets, moon and space rockets: all only small parts of the chaos, and confusion, and above all, the challenge that the world has to offer, What' is your part in all this? What do you have to offer? What are you preparing for? Ask yourselves these questions and if you find you have no answers or only vague ones, grab hold of yourself and really begin to work at something and for something. In your striving and struggle to achieve the goal you have set, remember that you owe a debt of gratitude to all of the teachers from kindergarten through the senior year. They not only tried to teachyou subject- matter but also such an intangible as integrity. lf they have succeeded in their all-out effort, then the future of this country is safe in your hands. 'lVly parting words to you are: believe in your God, believe in yourself, and believe in people. Nly very best wishes to all of you. Victor F. Baiz Principal
