FQREWQRD Why would you provoke the years to bring the inevitable yoke? The above line from Wordsworth seems to be asking youth, in particular, why it is so hast- ily pursuing maturity. Suggested also is that the early days of one's life are far superior to those of adulthood, laden as they are with worry and respon- sibility. In today's society, a great portion of a person's youth is spent inside an educational institution, such as Coughlin High School. Like students of sim- ilar schools, Coughlin's graduates, upon departing, will not be lacking for pleasant memories. However, as the years pass by, these memories will not re- main as vivid as they were at the time of graduation and will eventually pass from their minds if something does not help us recall all those good times - the Junior-Senior Prom, Class Night, or the Class Outing. This, then, is the purpose of our BREIDLIN. It attempts to condense, within its few- short pages, the spirit of Coughlin High School. , The Yearbook Staff of 1965 has spent many long hours in the preparation of 'this publication, and it is sincerely hoped that it is enjoyable to all.
