f ?..fEK.Efwf FUHEWUHU Only a yearbook staff can realize the complications and many tasks involved in the produc- tion of a yearbook. Our book is no exception. Maximum eHort has been required of each staff mem- ber to insure final publication. Without such effort the Breidlin would not have been completed. A yearbook ought to be a book of memoriesg and we, the staff, have tried sincerely to produce a record of this year of l958-1959. This is the purpose of our record: to capture the excitement of a football game-fto recall that sense of achievement when student and teacher share an experience in learning-to remember the fun of the Iunior-Senior trips, the fine production of the senior play, and that very special night spent at the last high school prom. There were other great moments to be remembered-the thrill of hearing read the names of this year's members of the National Honor So- ciety-the proud feeling of Wearing a sweater with the Coughlin Cn-and the letter announcing the awarding of a scholarship. So many fine memories throng into our minds we cannot list them all. These have been good years, these high school years. And We are grateful for them. If the Breidlin preserves these years and makes them live again and again in our memories then it has fulfilled its purpose.
