The aculfy FRANCIS T. TRUSCOTT THOMAS E. BRADLEY Principal Assistant Principal Student activities have always been given a prominent place in the BREIDLIN. But, what of our faculty? What are some of their activi- ties? Would you like to know? The answer is, most emphatically, Yesl Most ot us know about the workshops organ- ized under the direction of the Wilkes-Barre Educational Association. Here are discussed mutual educational problems and improve- ments in teaching techniques. Last tall the W.-B. E. A. planned a day called Business- lndustrial-Education Day, when teachers tour- ed Wyoming Valley lndustries. Future plans are to have leaders of industries visit schools, EDITH DAVIS AUDHEY HUGHES Secretary Clerk Departmental meetings, during which super- visors hold discussions with the teachers, are held at the supervisors' discretion. Many ot our teachers are taking extension courses in evening or summer schools and are working for advanced degrees or improvement in their teaching techniques. And, of course, social gatherings cannot be omitted from any list ot activities. The men ot the faculty hold monthly meetings, and fre- quent socials are held by the women.
