Senior Class fficers Mit, THOMAS ROONEY Treasurer VVU-I-IAM F1-EMING SANDRA JENKINS President secretary JM an ' RONALD IWICKI e Orator ld 1 N .,fQ,4,vtfcA4w MVN Class Son . By Eleanor Kusyk '52 in X 041 Tune: I'll Walk Alone Dear School, to you To teachers, too, We bid adieu- We say adieu- And our hearts fill with sadness, Singing praises forever- F or, the warmth and the gladness For the guidance you render, That you give we must leave- And the knowledge you share- Yet smile, not grieve. A gem, so rare. And, all of these rnem'ries We'll cherish through years, Though time will make us old. The fun that we had, Through all of these days, Will make us sigh For days gone by. The future calls Us, one and all- Chosen paths we must follow We'll not be here tomorrow, Dear Friends. Farewell! twenty-three

twenty-two ipen i etter to the C ass of 5 To the Members of the Class of 1952: You have reached the point in your life that, just a few years ago, seemed a long way off. You and your parents have dreamed of the day when you would graduate from high school. But, since all good things come to those who wait, your day of realization has come. We have tried in Coughlin to point out to you those things that will count most as you travel through life. If you have learned that honesty, courtesy, and character are the important factors, we shall feel that we have accomplished our purpose. You will always be faced by a conflict between good and evil. Have the courage always to do what is right, and your life will be of benefit to yourself and your community. Young people of today are confronted with many ques- tions. Are We going to have another war? Shall I continue my education? ls it possible to plan my future? I wish I could answer those questions for you. But I do hope, whatever you decide your future will be, that you won't lose faith in yourself, your country, your God. Our country has gone through many crisesg and, mainly, because of the faith of our young people, it has always passed them safely. With your continued faith and confidence, I know we shall be able to solve our present problems and return to normal living. Now the time has come for you to go your various Ways in life. For some of you graduation will mean the end of your formal education. Others will go on to a more advanced phase. You all have been most fortunate in your high school years. Your lives have been enriched through your contact with a man of unusual educational stature-Mr. I. H. Super. His fine influ- ence will always be a source of inspiration to you. May God be with you, Class of '52, and, as you become alumni of Coughlin, we wish you the best that life can offer. Sincerely, men
