sim DEDICATIO Through the years our school has been most fortunate in its leaders, and we of the present genera- tion have received a proud heritage. First, there was Mr. Iacob P. Breidinger, beloved of many generations of Coughlin students whose Wise counsel was an inspiration to every student who knew him. Then, as Mr. Breidinger's years as principal drew to a close, by his side there appeared another great man who was to take his place. In nineteen thirty-two, Mr. Iohn H. Super be- came principal. It was with a deep sense of loss that we saw Mr. Super retire in Iune, nineteen fifty-one. Each of our lives was enriched by this man who made education his life's work. In September of nineteen-fifty-one Mr. Francis T. Truscott became principal of Coughlin High Schoolg and, for the third time we have been unusually fortu- nate in our principal. During this past year Mr. Truscott has won the admiration and respect of the faculty and students. We have learned to seek his ' wise counsel and guidance. We have been deeply impressed by his friendliness, sincerity, and courtesy. With the hope that our appreciation of his leadership might be expressed more fully by some outward evidence, we, the class of ninetee fifty-two, as at symbol and token of our ap- preciation for his earnest en- deavors to help make our senior years a memorable one, do re- spectfully dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Francis T.
