Mr. Francis Truscott, who has had charge of the sale of war bonds and stamps, has had a ban- ner year With a total sale of more than S30,000, which has far sur- passed all previous records. Great credit is due Mrs. Mary T. loseph for her very successful hand- ling of cafeteria resources in view of rationing and food shortages. Early in the year all the teachers were assigned to various grade school buildings where they aided in the issuance of Ration Book IV. All have taken part in the sale of bonds and stamps. MR. ON BOTH FRONTS- o In Coughlin's all-out war effort, not the least of the participants are the members of the faculty. Several members of our fac- ulty have gone into the various branches of military service and are serving on many fronts. Among these are: Major Ioseph Boyle, Lieutenant Chester Hine, Lieutenant Iohn Hendler, Lieutenant ijql Iohn Saricks tNavyl, Private Charles Hensley, and A S Iames Payne iNavyl. The continuance and improve- ment of the classes in aeronautics. Morse code and auto-mechanics has been an unquestionable con- tribution to victory.
