Clark N keeping with the national program of civil- ian preparedness cmd defense, the members of the faculty are certainly doing their part. Mr. I. H. Super, principal of Couqhlin, last surn- mer was Administrative Head of the Engineer- ing Defense Training Program of Pennsylvania State College. Mr. George F. Hutter is Post Warden No. ll6 with an assistant post Warden and eighteen patrol wardens under his direc- tion. Several teachers--as Miss Iuzwiak, Miss Tuhy, and Miss Dzury to mention a few-have taken courses in first aid. Four or five, under Mr. Zerbe's leadership, give up their evenings to teach special defense classes at the Penn State Extension School. Every member of the faculty is buying his share of war stamps and bonds and has assisted in registering the draftees and in rationing sugar and gasoline. Two of our teachers, Mr. Boyle and Mr. Hend- ler, are actually in the service. They're all a11 out at Coughlin! CORPORAL HENDLEH A.
