During our first year we were mainly occupied with our studies. However, as upperclassmen, realizing that all work and no play makes lack a dull boy, we began to participate in the social activities of Coughlin. Many of us who were dramatically inclined became members of Masquers. Others who displayed artistic ability joined the Art Club, while still others became interested in the ath- letic teams. Soon many of us assumed the actual leadership of these clubf We formed many new friendships and a fek, fggf v 'ellow classmates were afforded sing fm their achievements in certain 'v K-if e Thus we, the graduating clasf ' back upon the record of our high with contentment and satisfaction. noweu Twenty we can't help experiencing a feeling of regret at the thought that we must leave this school in which we have spent many happy hours. In our album of schoolday memories we shall always hold dear the pictures of our Senior Class officers: the picture of our Presi- dent Iack Miller as he conducted a meeting ot the Student Service Committee and a candid snapshot of our Secretary Kathleen Kennedy as' she hastened to attend a Girl Reserves meeting. Another photo which will stir us will be the one of our Treasurer Thomas Make- ' 'T'Q'fonis as he delivered a thrilling oration in chapel, as well as the one of our Mantle Orator lack Highsmith taken on Class Day as he addressed the school for the last time.
