Mr. Cotulla becomes the proud owner of DANTE. One and two and. . . Four Juniors were notified that they had been selected to repre- sent Cotulla High at' Boys' and Girls' State during the summer, Those to represent us E are: Joe LCC Gilbert. Troy is crowned king of the Prom, Charles Graves, Nancy Huddleston, and Aileen Garms. This month was a busy one for the poor Juniors. And then the big event. Junior mothers slaved over a hot stove in order that the Junior-Senior Banquet be the success it was. Senior week -- but ole CHS found Seniors around because work needed to be completed in order to receive that signed diploma. They had to be around to practice for commence- ment, The students having the highest, four-year averages were: Valedictorian, Mary Sue Myersg Salutatorian, Ioan Hill. May 21 found the Class of '56 saying adieu to CHS and stepping a rung higher on the ladder of life. 3 v The track team traveled to Austin for the State Meet, The Cowboy Band in action at the i Spring Concert. You might know the Seniors would be trying to get a set of final exam questions from Mrs. Gebert so as not to have to bum midnight oil. . .as if they ever did.
