President . . . , . Nell Smith Vice-President . . Judy Windsor Sec. - Treas. . Barbara Ann Lewis Reporter .... Rex Granger In 1939 the local chapter of the Cottonwood Beta Club was organized. Thirteen members made up the group with Wyline Christmas serving as the first president. For fifteen years now the Club has worked to promote honesty, self-respect, and leader- ship among students . The Beta Club in 1953 began working on a project which resulted in presenting to the school in 1954 a S130 filing cabinet for the library. All the Beta members sincerely hope that the school and community enjoy the use of this cabinet.
