The reasons for these boasts is that quantity is importanl, WUh the increase in staff came a togetherness and excitement that had been absent from Mesa, Mew clubs were started and most important ideas circulated. A medium was reached that not only encouraged students, but provided a foundation filled with a sense of belonging. Therefore, quality must not always take precedence over quantity. I. Being the Faculty Editor of the 1988 RoundUp was hec- tic. Besides trying to schedule a photographer for over 150 pictures, I had to write copy that captured the interest of the school. In order to obtain facts about teachers 1 sent out over 100 surveys. Working with these responses and personal inter views. I was able to construct a mini high-school bio. Despite warnings from past editors. I put off much of my work until the last minute. This decision I regreted later, and now I warn those of you on staff next year. Being part of the yearbook staff has been a great learning experience. Sincerely, Kaelyn Kutch Faculty97
