It is predicted that in ten years the Seniors of i960 will be successful in a great number of different fields. Robert Hothem and Carl Miller will be certified public accountants at the Fresno Rubber Plant, es- tablished by Gerald Klusty and Ronald McClain, the country's two most famous businessmen. Judith Burrier, originator of the new permanent that lasts forever, has beauty salons all over the country. Virginia Dickerson, Judithâs assistant, is the top hair stylist in the country. On every sports page in every magazine the Bea- ver Beavers, International Basketball Champions, coached by Darrell Olinger are in the headlines. The Beavers couldnât win a game unless they had Robert Hamilton along as press agent and David Gress as their very capable manager. David Mast, Fresnoâs foremost dentist, is world famous. He has just finished making dentures for the President of the United States. Norma Frank and Judy Gibbs are still together as they were ten years ago, but now they are in New York operating a finishing school for girls from the highest society all over the world. June Wolfe is one of their most prominent teachers. Vernon Mizer is in the headlines almost everyday since he has been promoted to a five star General of the United States Army. James Greten and Thomas Hicks own and operate the Tran-Continental Trucking Company which is important to the welfare of all major cities in the United States. Rosetta Armbrust and Judith Dcibel, now regis- tered nurses, are operating Fresnoâs world famous clinic. Last but not least we see Janet Phillips, the worldâs greatest movie star. The name of her latest film is âFrom Here to Parrishes.â We wish all the luck and happiness in the world to the Seniors of i960. 8 Faculty MILTON A. We had the usual trials and tribulations trying to adjust to high school routine. Thirty-four of us survived the ordeal and entered Grade Ten. There were only 26 in our Junior Class but we ended our high school career with 28. Seven- teen of these began at Union in Grade 1 and con- tinued through Grade 12. Four others attended Grades 9 through 12. Among our social activities were skating parties, dances, socials, and banquets. âStardustâ was the Junior-Senior Prom theme last year. We made money for our various activities, by selling candy, cards, aprons, popcorn, magazine subscriptions, and ball game concessions. The Junior Class Play, âPick-a-Dilly,â was very successful. In our Senior year we presented a play called âA Diet of Dates,â which was well received. We had a refreshment stand at the fair. Our class colors are light blue and white, the class flowers are white and red roses and our motto is âFind a Way or Make One.â Two of our class were cheerleaders, six played var- sity basketball, and six made the baseball team. Our class published the monthly school paper âHi-Litesâ and edited the bi-weekly âNewsletter.â The Senior Trip to Washington and New York in May was the outstanding event of our high school days. Our class Officers in Grade 9 were: President, Glenn Steftee; Vice-President, Wilson McCoy; Secretary, Greta Dickerson; Treasurer, Ronald Anderson. For Grade 10 they were: President, Tom Wheeler; Vice- President, Charles Williamson; Secretary, Ruthellen Gault; Treasurer, Ronald Anderson. During the nth Grade they were: President, Charles Williamson; Vice-President, Sally Vorys; Secretary, Ruthellen Gault; Treasurer, Ronald Anderson. Our Senior Year we had the following corps of officers: President, Douglas Clutter; Vice-President, Tom Wheeler; Sec- retary, Ruthellen Gault; and Treasurer, Ronald Anderson. Executive Head WAYNE T. To each of us these years represent an accomplishment that we cannot truly measure except as it enriches our lives in the future. We feel sure, at the present time, that we do not fully appreciate the many advantages we have gained and the many opportunities which will be open to us because of the years we have spent in Warsaw School. Our class has enjoyed working together toward the goal of graduation and our Senior trip which will probably be our last class activity. We have contrib- uted to our basketball and baseball teams, class plays, Band, Chorus, Student Council, Amateur Ac- torâs Club, school paper, cheerleading, Vocational Home Economics Club, and Vocational Agriculture activities. We hope that these organizations have profited from our contributions to them. We believe that we can feel proud of our school and we wish to express our gratitude to our parents who have given us the educational opportunities we have enjoyed. As the sound of school bells echo in the past, we shall take with us many memories of our high school days. Many friendships which we have formed will continue with us through life while others will endure only in our memories. It is with mixed emotions that we enter into our closing activities: Baccalaureate, May 29, i960, and Commencement, June 1, i960. Our class flower is the white carnation and our motto is âTonight We are Launched, Where will We Land?â Executive Head WALTER C. HANEYâExecutive Head.
