PLAINFIELD SCHOOL Senior Class History The Senior Class of Plainfield High School, which began in the year of 1954, has come a long way up the ladder since the first day we set our feet within the portals of Plainfield High School. Beginning in our Freshman Year of School, we had 33 students in our class. In our Sophomore and Junior Years we had 15. Now as we enter into the last year of our high school we have 14 Seniors. Two in our class began at Plainfield in Grade One and have continued through Grade Twelve. There are 11 in the class that have attended Plain- field since their Freshman Year. During our Junior Year of high school we pre- sented a play called, “Bolts and Nuts.” We also had the honor of giving a Junior-Senior Prom in honor of the Senior Class of 1957. We worked very hard to get ready for the Prom. We were very pleased with the success of the Prom. Since our Freshman Year, we have all been looking forward to the day when we will take our Senior Class Trip. We have worked hard to get the money for the trip, which we plan to take in May, to Washington and New York City. During our Junior and Senior Years, we had four square dances which helped us a great deal towards the Prom and the Class Trip. We are proud of the boys in our class who have represented us in the baseball and basketball teams for the past 4 years. This year we are happy to say that 7 boys in our class are on the basketball team. Our class colors are blue and white; also, the class flower is blue and white carnations. Our motto is, “From the Halls of School, To the Cor- ridors of Life.” We have also had quite a few good times in Plainfield High. We have had many good class parties which were lots of fun. We will never for- get our years in Plainfield High School. 16
