To MR. L. C. SHAW, teacher, historian and outstanding citizen, we respectfully dedicate the 1939 Coshoctonian. For forty-two years Mr. Shaw taught in our own county schools and served as County Superintendent from 1914 to 1925. He is keenly interested in Coshocton County his¬ tory both as a lecturer and writer. In 1935 he published a booklet entitled “Our County — Coshocton.” . . . Mr. Shaw is now retired from active life and resides in West Lafayette. 1 10 ]
