INDUSTRIAL ARTS The Manual Arts Department has added several pieces of new equipment including a sixty inch bed lathe, band saw and com- bination ten inch table saw mounted cm the same stand with a six inch jointer. We have made numerous articles for the build- ing and grounds in addition to individual work. CONESVILLE RURAL HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES THE HIGH SCHOOL ORCHESTRA This group consists of those students who are able to do more advanced work in mu- sic. Rehearsals, are held twice a week. More emphasis is placed upon details and the artistic side of tone production. CONESVILLE RURAL HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS BOYS’ BASKETBALL Record in County League—Won 2, Lost 9 The first full season of basketball was played this year. As the game was new to the team, most of the time was of necessity spent in fundamental drill. Valuable ex- perience was gained as well as an intense love of the game. Although we didn’t win any conference games we did come through with flying colors, losing in the finals of the county tournament by one point.
