Class Prophecy In the year 1978, I decided to pursue the whereabouts of my old school mates, Know- ing that Dennis Gossman had attained the solemn duty of keeping personal files for all C-R graduates, I aimed my beginning first in his direction- Washington D.C. Upon arriving there I came across a scene of a most shockng nature, which I watched through the window of a taxi driven by (of all people) David Shafer. Getting back to the scene, US Marshall Paul Fenstermaker was leading his deputies, Ron Peterman, Jack Cupples, Ray Scholes, and John Weihrauch against a mob of pacifists. I was unaware of the fact that Ed Ridge, Ron Reese and Tom Moyer had turned Hippie. I soon became bored of the violence. ' Bout halfway to the White House, Jerry Cupples and Steve McFadden stopped me on the street and asked if I had heard the news. Well of course I hadn ' t, so after Jerry got Steve to quit play ing his guitar, they told me that Mike Carr fell from his job (washing win- dows) A moment of silence please. They went into further detail of the accident, and told how Frank Benjamin had run off the road in his Texaco wrecker, and apparently knocked the ladder from under Mike. ,,-.,- I finally arrived at the White House where I procurred the files from Dennis secreta- ries Janet Motter and Darlene Rizor. They were well-dressed, as are all women of their sta- tus ' in one of the latest styles by Chris Rodabaugh and Sue Baumgardner. As I was leaving the building, I witnessed, to my amazement, Secret Serviceman Mark Boehm protectmg President Pam Frazier with his life. It was good to see a real man in action. From the White House I decided to drop by the office of one of the world s famed psy- chiatrist Mark Zimmerly. Walking down Pennsylvania Avenue, I noticed an attractive sign. It read- ROWER ' S GROCERY HARDWARE. I couldn ' t resist the urge to go in and purchase an item from the traditional 99 t Special Box. While at the cash register, Mary cal- led Sandy Crist and Pat Crawford out from the back room. They were dressed in dirty cov- eralls and had been working on a sump-pump all day long. Planning to continue my trip to Zimm ' s I left the store in high spirits; but as soon as I stepped out the door, I was knocked tothe sidewalk by a man on a 30-speed English Racer. I arose from the walk and saw Dean Shilling waving to me as he sped on his way. Later, I learned that he won the Cross-Coun- try Cycle Race. I once again started on my way, but had received a head injury from the mishap The one person I never expected to see in Washington, John Hunter, insisted th at I go to the hospital for a check-up. I consented, but if I had known he was going to drive me there in a beer truck, I ' d have thought twice about the matter.
