Cory and Rawson first grades were filled with the shining faces on new students. Forty-one of these have been twelve years together. Between our fifth and sixth grades the two schools become o consolidated school district. ln l952, looking forward to mony happy days, we eagerly be- gan our high school careers at our new, modern Cary-Rawson High School, Under the leadership of our sponsors, Mr. Trostmiller and Mrs. Oswald, we chose for our Freshman officers: Tom Reiter, president, Roberta House, vrcefpresrdent, and Elizabeth Creighton, secretary- treosurer. During that year, we lost Larry Rettrg, Sally Hartman, Don Wonder, and Mary Lee Snyder. We were guided through our Sophomore year by our sponsors, Mr. Knight and Mr. Fink. We chose as our officers: George Keller, president, Roberto House, vice-president, Rosemary Anderson, secre- tary, and Larry Bame, treasurer, The big event of that year was the choosing of our sparkling class rings. We welcomed to our class Larry Bame, James Nonnamaker, and Annetta Hobeggar, but said good-bye to Joan Crawfis and Shelva Woodward. With great anxiety, we began our Junior year under our com- petent sponsors, Mr. Knight and Mrs. Brunrng. We selected as our officers: Larry Bame, president, Roberto Hause, vice-president, Edith Poe, secretary, and James Nonnamaker, treasurer. The three morn events of the year were: running the concession stand at basketball games, entertaining the senrors ot our banquet, A Garden of Dreams, and presenting our first class ploy, You Can't Kiss Care oline. We were ioined by Maurice Linville, and lost Elvino Wilkins. Under the excellent guidance of our teachers ond parents, we reached our last year in high school. We organized our class with the following officers: Larry Bame, president, James Nonnomaker, vice-president, Roberta House, secretory, and .lerrilyn Falk, treasurer. Our next undertakings were to select our annual staff and have our pictures token in Fostoria, Our class ploy, presented in November, was We Shook the Family Tree. During our Senior year, we lost Maurice Linville and Sandra Spaeth, making a total of 57 graduates. Our last and much looked forward to event was our class trip to Washington and New York, lt was a great trip, very much en- ioyed by everyone, including our class sponsors, Mr. Deeds and Mr. Clevidence. On May 20, when our Commencement and Baccalaureate were held, our wonderful school doys come to a close. Our school mates ported, each looking fondly back to the past and eagerly forward to the future and remembering our class motto, Live to learn, and learn to livefl s 4 we c, 5 MElNKE'S DRUG STORE, JENERA CO-OPERATIVE ASSN., GILBOA HARDWARE, C, L, Meinke Reg.
