The team ended with a league record of 17-1 and an overall record of 28-9. There were a lot of injuries this season, commented senior Cindy Schaumburg. At one time or another, three people - Kristen Eves, Jeni Eves and Kathy Gutierrez - were in casts for part of the season. Despite the injuries, the team made it to the state competition at the University of Portland. They ended with a 2-2 record at State, losing to Marshall in the first round and to Thurston for the consolation trophy. 1 Lovre felt that with the exception of the game against Thurston, the season went well. Molle Martinson and Heidi Schrnedding had a really good State Toumeyg they weren't the only ones, but they were the most consistent, said Lovre. Kristen Eves, Jeni Eves and Martinson made first team all-league.
