Administrators Promoted Schoo1's Goals l ...L. I lla The role of the administrator is not an easy one. Not only is he confronted with the problems from the students, but also with those of the faculty. This year's administration has done a superior job of meeting the needs of both the school and the community. Their jobs are varied, they may be seen reading the daily bulletin, changing schedules, or intro- ducing a speaker at an assembly. The administration was virtu- ally a new one. Dr. McKinney, our principal, passed his first year in Corvallis High with us. He attacked major problems and succeeded in making the school a better one. The vice- principals acquired new jobs and expanded their old ones. Whatever they did, they were working for us.

peration Staff Kept School Five full-time counselors arranged schedules and assisted students in solving academic and personal problems. The YES office also helped by supplying employment for eager students. From left to right, the counselors are: Mrs. Mary State, Mrs. Vera Rush, Mr. Wesley Ediger, and Mr. John Platt. iNot pictured: Mr. Harold Meyer and Mrs. May Carlsonl. Mrs. Ruby Brandt Busy seems to be an appropriate word in describ- ing the office secretaries. If not doing work for their em- ployers, they were preparing schedules or transcripts for the many students. l Mrs. Sharon Rasley Mrs. Lola Wolfenbarger Mrs. Verna Harlan Like the Royal Canadian Mounted police, the librarians almost always got their man ior womanl when an overdue book was involved. In spite of this, many students owe the librarians and their helpers a great deal of thanks, for with- out them, few term papers would have been completed. Mrs. Arlene Jensen Mrs. Mary MCGQQ
