Mr. Goff Received 1968 Dedication .swf-e ' 46 ..-v ' ir 7,5 1-fi gt' lVlr. Roby Goff 1968 Chintimini Dedication Success doesn't just happen, you make it happen . And to the person who said this, success has happened. The person is lVlr. Roby Goff who retired this year after forty-two years of teaching. Beginning his career as an educator in 1922, lVlr. Goff enrolled in an Industrial Arts program and has been teaching ever since that time. He came to CHS in 1943 where he taught metal shop and has been instructing three shop courses for the past year. Whatever class it was, lV!r. Goff recognized the need to develop the potentials and personal interests of students, 14 whether they were preparing for a college or vocational occupation. Through the years he has found satisfaction in thinking back on the years and remembering past students who have become excellent mechanics. lVlr. Goff greatly helped these boys who, as he said, knew what they wanted and went a- head and got it . Not too many students, though, can be- come successful without the aid and instruction of a person such as Mr. Roby Goff. lVlr. Goff made his work and students an important part of his life and retired last year - a very successful individual.
