The 1960 Circus, composed of twentyeeight booths, constructed by Mr. Saling and his wood- shop classes, made the C.H.S. gym look like a small version of the Big Top. Approximately 2,280 dollars were taken in, giving a clear prof- it of 1200 to 1300 dollars. Two stage shows, held in the Auditorium, were well attended and contributed much to the over- all success ofthe Circus. Able chairmen, headed by Bruce Magnuson, and nearly 160 students worked setting up booths on the day of the Circus. Between the stage shows, Janet Lear, Senior Princess, was crowned the Circus Queen. Ann Neville and Nina Norberg were the Junior and Sophomore Princesses respectively. About 160 students got out of school to work on the Circus. . 1 NY? l .4-J' p- if 4' I vw' ' VQOMIL ffiff, sfo ' is 40, if l 1.
