TuYuu Mrs. Shaw, a native Oregonian, was born in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Grant High School and attended Reed Col- lege where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree. Her first teaching iob was at Roosevelt High School in Portland where she taught English. After her marriage to Francis Shaw, who teaches History of Western Civilization and History of Ameri- can Civilization at O.S.C., she started teaching at Corvallis High School. That was in 1956, and this year at Corvallis High Mrs. Shaw is teaching English and is Senior Class Advisor. Mrs. Shaw's favorite hobby is music and she plays the piano quite well. She enjoys just listening to music also. lt is indeed with great pleasure that we dedicate the 1959 Chintimini to Mrs. Shaw.
