Exchange Students ‘85-86’ Many people have asked me how come I decided to be an exchange-student In America. I had heard so many positive things about this country and I wanted to see for myself. I found out that most things are true, like everyone seems to be so friendly. I have enjoyed my year at C.H.S. and be- ing able to participate In school and outside school spirit. I am Helle van Doom, one of your exchange stu- dents this year. 1 am from the Netherlands. I am staying with the Charles Hegg family. In school I’m a senior so I’ll graduate this year. That Is something I look forward to. I am having a great time being at Corunna High School. My name Is Raul Reyes and I’m from Mexico. I arrived at Corunna High School without any English and I have troubles with almost everything. There are some differences between my school and this school like “Lockers”, because we don’t have them. But, thanks to my teachers and this school I have a new language and a lot of things to say. 7
