Razzle dazzle, snazzle Pre-school sweethearts. aoo. 2 3 You are to be commended for attaining a most signifi- cant step in the lives of most Americans, that is, achieving a high school education. Education is an important key to developing a better world in which to live. This is a sincere desire of al- most every American citizen today. Before you can better the world, you must first better yourself. Again, the key is education. Don't stop with the knowledge you have thus far received. Continue to work and to achieve in order to enrich yourself. May I also take thes opportunity to wish you every success for the future in what ever it holds for you. Duane L. This school is really different from my country because we wear uniforms to school and there are no boys at my school. Aiso the young people are more free here. I would like to thank all my friends, teachers and my family for helping me with my English. Also, for making me a part of their life. If I should return to the United States I want to visit Corunna and my family. I will always remember you and I would be glad to have you come and visit El Salvador. Their faces were painted in many a color. They made a curious sight. They walked the halls tall and proud Causing a great delight. The students all stared and laughed and gawked. Those four are crazy they sighed. Who ever could have the nerve to do that? Those four, they must be fried. The four, they had a leader. And Harry was his name. He was famous for his antics And was always receiving the blame. This latest idea of Harry's Was the greatest the school had seen. The school's morale had been lifted By Harry's Halloween dream. They've got the Holloween spirit! The students began to exclaim They ought to do this more often. For school would not be the same. Most everyone thought it was funny. Most everyone but Mr. Ash. He called the four to the office. His temper became quite rash. Why have you caused this commotion? Ash screamed as he grabbed Harry's wrist. You're nothing but childish pranksters, He yelled as he shook his fist. You're causing a great disruption, Old Ash began to decry. We'll have no more of your trouble At good old Corunna High. Remove that ridiculous make-up. And also those costumes you flout. I say, remove them at once. Or from school I'll have you kicked out. The four gave Ash little trouble When asked to perform his request. For they knew what power he carried. And they did not take him in jest. At eight they were in Ash's office. At nine, the costumes were gone. By ten they were back in their classes. And at break they smoked on the lawn. The school returned to normal. And although much more would be said, Harry's great scheme had been ruined. Old Ash had killed it dead. by Tony Spaniola, Steve Annese, and Ingrid Defever 139 ART CLUB: FIRST ROW, L—R: Miss Whipple, S. Carlin, P. Schuppler, J. Powell, S. Tissot t ROW: L. Plashek, D. But we finally pulled it all together our senior year and won our first major victory with that cute little bunny that every- one is sure to remember. Once again we will be separated, not because of split sessions, even though we seniors had to suffer and enjoy four unforget- table years of them, but because it is now our turn to let go of our roots here and make new ones in a life of our own.
