Seniors, soon you will be leaving Corunna High School to take your place in our complex and ever changing society. I sincerely hope Corunna High School has assisted in some little way in preparing you to meet the challenges you are going to be facing. I have confidence not only will you meet these challenges by becoming a useful citizen, but you will also strive to make this a better world in which to live. Some may feel they have it made. However, until every man can rent, lease, or buy according to his means and desire; until every child can have an equal opportunity in youth and manhood; until hunger is not only immoral but illegal; until selfishness and greed are recognized as a scourge reaching epidemic proportions, and treated as such; until racism, sexism, and narcotics are conquered, can we truly begin to speak of success. Your high school education could be a springboard of dedication and devotion to these causes. The challenge is there. The choice is yours. It's up to you to accept or reject.
