MAKI G STATE For students who are more advanced than others in their classes Cortez offers ac- celerated courses. For freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Ac- celerated courses are offered in English, biology, math and Chemistry. Seniors can participate in Advanced Placement pro- grams, which can earn them a college credit in the above listed classes. Besides a more challenging workload, another factor makes these unique classes special - the people involved. I really enjoyed the students and teachers in the AP classes, said Paul Stanton, Sr. Very often after a year of working closely TOGETHER, students and teachers find that they have more friends than they had when the year started. My Accelerated classes have given me an experience that l'Il never forget, and in some ways they are taught just like college, so l'lI be able to adjust easily. stated Eric Bramlett, sophomore. 30 ACCELERATED COURSES Rig f f?Tj1QQg ', W , g, 9 ' :Q .
