At the beginning of each period a figure was seen passing each door, flying around corners, and running up and down steps. This was just one of Mr. Armistead's seven office assistants taking up the ab- sentee slips, She also ran errands and tended to any general business of the office. Then, if you tiptoed past Mr. Seale's office, the clicking of a typewriter could be heard. There, one of the four assistants was busy writing letters for information or filing. She also was ready to run errands or help with any work that needed to be done. This is a fine group of girls, and each one is to be commended for her office ability and help she has rendered to the school. LIBRARY ASSISTANTS Row One l r'1r.
