H.'XI.l. The Parent-Teacher Association is a state-wide association, organized to bring about a better cooperation and understanding between parents and teachers. This year one of the outstanding programs was a Back-to-School Nighrng the par- ents attended classes and heard short discussions concerning the work which their sons and daughters were doing. If we thought they could use them, our Dads Club would certainly receive orchids from the students of C. H, S. W'ithout their unfailing co-operation our football season would have been a complete failure. Members acted as Uchauffeursn for the football team to and from out-of-town games and were valuable morale builders every Friday night of the season. This year the 100 members contributed twenty side-line jackets to the football team. Outstanding events sponsored by the Dads Club in 1944-1945 included the barbecue at the Country Club and the Blue and Gold game. Special thanks are due to Mr. NV. H. Smith, Mr. M. A. Spurgeon, Mr. M. This is an organization of all ex-students of the Corsicana Senior Hi 'h School, which enables classmates to kee in contact with each other and to is I3 get together once a year for old-times' sake. This year the Alumni Association has over 3500 members, includin 700 in the service.
