University of Chicago. 1916: Graduate Student Teachers' College of Columbia University. 1925-27: principal Athens High School, 1908-10: principal,gBonham High School. 1910-13: superintendent Bonham Schools, 1914-21: moved from Bonham to Corsicana in 1921 and became superintendent of Corsicana Public Schools. Under his administration a millionadollar school building program has been successfully carried out: fully equipped cafeterias have been established in the schools: the entire school curriculum has been revised: business courses are given in the high school: kindergartens have been established: health programs have been added to the courses of the various schools. Life member of Texas State Teachers' Association. member of executive committee, president of the Northeast Division, and in 1926-27 he was chairman of the research committee of this organization: vice-president of Corsicana Chamber of Commerce: listed in Who's Who of Central States, life member of the National Education Association, member Third 5 Avenue Presbyterian Church, Boy Scout and Camp Fire Girls Councils.
