HOMECOMING 1987 Homecoming 1987 was an exciting event, which involved the entire student body to promote school spirit. Monday was reverse day where students wore their pants, shirts, and ties inside out. Tuesday the halls were filled with orange and black. Wednesday was 50’s and 60's day, the halls looked like a rerun of Happy Days. The students looked like some of their mothers and fathers during their High School Days. Thursday was sports day. Students wore football, baseball, volleyball and cheerleading uniforms. Friday was class color war. Seniors wore white, juniors wore blue, sophomores worn green, freshman wore red, and even the Junior High students This yean crown bearer was Tommy Winched, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Winched. The flower girl of this years Homecoming was Jolene Daniels, daughter of Mr and Mrs Clinton Daniels. The year with spirit got in the action. The 8th grade was wearing blue, while, the 7th graders wore white. The winning class was the spirit filled senior class. Thursday night there was a bonfire led by the cheerleaders for the entire student body. The main purpose of the bonfire was to honor the football players and their coaches. Friday there was an afternoon assembly which involved the Princesses, Queen candidates, King candidates, and cheerleaders. Marc Reese was chosen as the King. Chris Burkhart was elected by the 10th grade to represent them during this years Homecoming activities. During the assembly she was escorted by Ryan Albers. Chris Is a J.V. wrestling cheerleader. Beth Bryndfson was the 11th grade princess chosen by the graduating class of 1988. She was escorted by Jeff Church during the Homecoming assembly. Beth » a member of the Yearbook staff. 4

This years court included one sophomore, one junior, and six seniors. The members of the court were Chris Burkhart. Lisa Amoroso, Lee Bailey. Kellie Lindsey. Jodi Krone, Sherry Dingfelder, Shonda Koestner, and Beth Brynolfson Kellie Lindsey was crow ned Homecoming Queen of 1987.
