Martha McLean Professor Cornelius Kent. a wealthy eccentric .... John Rozelle Mildred Wade, in love with the professor's nephew .. .. Margaret Gordon Allen Kent, the professor's nephew ............ .... ll 'lax Bennink Mary Fremont, professor Kent's niece Robert Fremont, Mary's young husband Ju-Ju, the Cannibal Queen ............ The annual Junior Class Play was directed by Mr. Philip Legal with Donald Bagley as student director. The play deals with the escapades of a young newspaper editor who allows a rival paper to publish, first hand, the story of a murder which happened in his own town. Valuing his position, he finds out that an old friend of his is bringing a savage woman to Cen- . . Betty VVest . . Ronnie Shoop .. Sophie Sander terville. This scoop might save him his job. The Professors nephew arrives but he is without this savage queen. The editor succeeds in induc- ing his stage struck fiancee to portray the Queen. She, in turn, bribes a negro maid and a porter to be her attendants. Much hilarity ensues during the remaining scenes until, finally, the owner of the hotel saves the day by producing the real Cannibal Queen.

' I Y. i ' ll Once upon a time there passed through the hallowed portals of Corry Senior High, a class of what seemed to be green timid Sophomores. VVe, the -class of '53, quickly adapted ourselves to the new ways of this great 'institution and elected as our officers: President, Jack Scott: Vice President, Sally Ruffnerg Secretary, Malcolm Dearing: Treasurer. Douglas Sorenson. Coming back as Juniors in the fall of '51, Vice P1 esldent . T1 easui ei JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY .. Jack Scott . . James Kelsey .. Frances Thomas . .. Douglas Sorenson . . Miss Eileen Graham we found before us the traditional job of produc- ing a play in order to finance the Prom. The annual class play, Ulf Mother Only Knew,'! was produced on March 6 and T and was a great success. Mr. Philip Legal. dramatics coach, was i11 charge of production, As this book goes to press, plans are under way for the traditional banquet and dance to he given in honor of the seniors.
