Dorothy Robinson We, the class of 1947, realize that we have reached the elld of our training in Cori-y Senior High School. Behind us are many happy hours, spent while we are being trained for the life that suddenly has popped up in front of us. It seems only yesterday that we were stumblefoot Sophomores, about to make our first impression on Corry High School. We took part in the activities of the school and never shirked any responsibility. With the news of V-E and VJ day ringing in our ears, we started our Junior year. This was the year in which we were called upon to present a play and finance the annual Junior-Senior Prom Our play The Nutt Family, under the direction of Mr. Philip Legal, was a huge success and added quite a sum to our treasury. Our Junior- Senior Banquet took, place in the Presbyterian gym and was attended by one of the largest crowds in years. The Junior High School gym was decorated as an old fashioned garden, complete with roses and arbors and following the color scheme of green and white, This was the scene of our dance which goes down in history as one of the most elaborate ones ever staged. At the end of our last year at C.H.S, we fully realize that school days are happy days -the happiest of our lives! As we make room for the class of 1948, all of us wish to extend our deepest gratitude to our principal, Mr. Howard J. Sheen, and to all of the members of the faculty of Corry Senior High School who have made all phases of our school life happy and profitable. 1. llil , v A llIllIIlllIIlIl1llllIIllilMlN X MlIllIIlllIIlIllllllIIMW 22

Miss VVise. anxious to sell the home. finals a prospective customer in an eccentric family - the Nutts. She agrees to let them remain in the house for a week, free of charge, to judge its merits as a future residence. l'. VVhile engaged to a girl whom he has never seen. and trying to escape her and his domineering aunt. he is confronted by a girl who claims to be his wife. To further complicate matters he is in love with this girl whom he has reason to believe is a patient in a sanatorium. Sylvia Gaylord. a prominent movie queen, is one of the former patients who arrives with her colored maid, Cerise. The antics of Cerise and the colored caretaker, Orestus, add to the hilarity of the play whenever they meet. Dr. P. Nutt --- ..... Jolnm Rossliacliei- Bea Wise ..,,,.........
