The dining room of the Hotel Cony was attractively decorated in the Senior colors of red and white. The dance was held at the Junior High School gymnasium, which was beautifully arranged to represent a scene in the South Sea Islands. The Junior class colors of green and white prevailed at the gym and encircled the stage, where Freddie Kimers and his orchestra presented an excellent program of dance music. After the grand march, led by Martha Mount and Charles Bracken, favors were distributed and balloons were released from a flower shaped ceiling net. The Prom is now nothing but a memory, hut one that will remain for a long time as one of the most pleasant social events of the class of 1940. • 27 K-
