Cockrell and Assistant Coach Frank Garvey--good friends excellent coaches, and inspiring class-room teachers--the staff takes pleasure in dedicating the 1952 Blue Quill. By their inspiring leadership and untiring efforts, these coaches led the 1951 Bulldogs to the football championship of District 21-B. The first Corrigan High School football team ever to play in a bi-district game, the Bulldogs' brilliant record on the gridiron stands as atribute to these coaches' efforts in a team well-drilled in football fundamentals and good sportsmanship.
