On November 11 the students attended Mass in t St. Placidts hall in celebration of Fr. Prior's feast day. After Mass he was formally wel- comed by the student body and presented with both spiritual and material gifts. On December 7 we were honored by having Fr. Joe Rickert. Maryknoller, speak to us about the missionary work in the U. S. and in foreign countries. uWhy did this day ever have to come? Andrew Rossi seems to be saying. It was one of those fateful days when, by order of Fr. Alfred, the students had to speak in St. Placid,s hall.
