The Sweetheart Prom was held at the Scottsdale Safari Resort. The sponsor of the dance was Corona- do's Criada Club, the group that traditionally puts on the prom. Students nominated and voted for their own Sweetheart Royalty. The Senior King and Queen were Dale Marino and Kerry Cross. The ju- nior attendents were Laurie Fitch and Greg Sherman. The sopho- more attendents were Cristy Va- lenzuela and Matt Schmidt. The freshman attendants were Katha Victor and Blake Edwards. King and Queen of Courts was held on Friday, February 15. Todd Busot was crowned king and Carla Jackson was queen. Last years royalty. Donn Fitch and Bridget Beracy, returned to crown the new king and queen. Jackson received a bouguet of flowers and Busot accepted a box of Valentine candy as they were crowned. The royalty marched under- neath an archway of ski poles, paying tribute to winter sports.
