UNIVERSITY THEATERS TARA CHAPMAN, DARCl Witzenburg and Julie Starkey display their Friday night spirit at the South Mountain game. Photo by Baribeau. by Nicole Olson Restlessness and anxiousness :d the campus as thoughts and ans for the coming weekend lled our minds as Friday, the fa- ,orite day of the week arrived. On weekends, many students and teachers went to football, bas- ketball, and baseball games in ad- dition to other sport events to help cheer their school or favorite team on. Others preferred a more active weekend of waterskiing, snow-ski- ing, tubing down the river, or ATC riding. Horseback riding, camping in Payson and taking balloon rides were some of the more relaxing activities people enjoyed. One of the seven wonders of the world that families and friends vis- ited was the Grand Canyon. Camp- ing and hiking the Canyon was an- other popular activity. For some teachers and stu- dents, homework filled their week- ends as tests and reports were as- signed. One ofthe favorite passtimes of students and teachers was spend- ing time with family and friends. Many people relaxed by going to a movie or just sitting back and tak- ing it easy. Weekends 17
