SUPERINTENDENT Our guiding light . . . Mr. A. E. Schaefer, Superintendent of Schools and Principal of Coronado High. . . he managed both jobs with outstanding ability. . . always helpful to students seek- ing advice. . . always working for the benefit of the school. . . although his duties were numerous, he still found time to lend a helping hand with assemblies, programs, and other important school affairs ... his patience, tact, and capability brought him success in his job.
