Evening Prayer 15 October 1980 USS CORONADO AGF 1 ' ■ c) The ship was cheered, thliUpbdpcleared. Merrily did we drop below the hill, below the kirk, below the lighthouse top. j Eternal Father, we know from the poem ' K ' JRMSH ' l Mariner that when we are at sea we are uniquely in your Divine Presence. Our hts and hearts, however, turn homeward this evening and we ask your blessings upon our jIK ones at home. We know that we and they are in your gentle hands. As we begin this awesome voyage, grant us a peaceful night, each man to his own thoughts and prayers, and guard well this ship and those who sail in her. Amen ?

PRODUCTION . Copy Editor and Page Design artist PN2 Mike A. Brunk, USN General Advisor and Referee NCC David F. Nuvill, USN MY TURN As I look back on the task of putting this cruise book Abrabin Nights and Days, to- geather, I marvel at the fact it is now com- plete. There were days when I nearly gave up. We apologize to those who expected it sooner but I ' m convinced it is worth the wait. We are proud of our efforts. I must congratulate PN2 Mike (cranky) Brunk and PH2 Paul (Slow- poke) Mahnken on their outstanding perfor- mance in the final days of production. It was two and a half days of little sleep, is it done yet, and no, you don ' t need any sleep, pushing on my part. Not to mention Ens George Guy and his constant, when will you be done, to- day? every day. They performed like any sailor under pressure and it is finished. Mom- bassa here we come and I can hardly wait to get the next CORONADO cruise book in pro- duction. Well done to all that helped put this out- standing book togeather. NCC David F. Nuvill Editor-in-Chief ■if. fS p 1 114
