THEME " " DED.lCATION
"Go West, young man!" Horace Greeley once advised - and "go west" we did, on Mr.,Wood"s
suggestion to the Executive Board when it was choosing the theme for this year's annual. Then
all hands pitched in, picking up cowboy lingo and atmosphere to use in the book . i s'Sorry so
mmy good ideas got crowded out, when such a lot ofvyou worked hard to help!
Because so many did have a hand, we of the staff have decided to dedicate this LA CORONA
OF 1951 to those who helped make it possible.
Thanks, pardners! 2-
